Cheerful Christmas - My Founder's Circle Swap Card with How To Video

This is my Founder's Circle Swap card! I decided to use Cheerful Christmas because of the somewhat Scandinavian feel it had and ya know what with me being a Minnesotan and everything. Lots of Nordic people settled in this state 'round a 135 years ago or so. The Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper fit so well with this card design that I was able to use quite a few different patterns on my cards. You can see a couple more patterns below.

I had to make a Video Tutorial because I know that a number of you will want to know my measurements and such. Let me apologize right now for the goof-ball measurements. You know me! Can't make anything simple when I can make it hard! lol! Anyway, I've always liked a 3/16" mat layer so that is what I did for my red and green layers. Just bump this out another 1/16" of an inch and go for the full quarter inch if that makes it easier for you and if you are doing multiples, it probably will. Have a great day and thank you so  much for stopping by Stamping to Share . . . enjoy the video!

Holiday Mini Swap Cards from Stamping to Share Part Two

Today I will continue with part two of our Creative Crafters' Stamping to Share Demo Swap Cards. Faith made this card with a pull out insert using the stamp set called For All Things. I love the distressing she did with the red ink.

This is the insert . . . what a cool way to use the shadow stamp. She stamped it repeatedly across the top of the card to create a border that she then overstamped with the acorns. I love that idea!

Mychelle used the Wonderous Wreath stamp set to create this card. This is an example how you can make a quick card with this stamp set. Stamp the wreath in one color. Add the berries and the sentiment and then use the coordinating framelits to cut out a bow which can be accented with a couple of swishes from our chalk maker and a rhinestone. Very pretty and very quick!

Mary made this Quarter Fold card with the stamp set called For All Things. She added the Color Me Autumn Washi tape for a neat accent. The designer series paper . . . believe it or not, is from the pack called Lullaby! Love it!

The inside of Mary's card is also decorated with acorns and a sentiment from ... you guessed it ... Yippee-Skippee!

Diana's card is just darling . . . love all the colorful stripes in the background that she created with cardstock and designer series paper. Super, super cute. And I just can't get over how EVENLY spaced they are! That would probably take me an hour just getting all those lined up! lol! The stamp set is called Tee-Hee-Hee!

Linda made a lovely gift tag by cutting out framelit circles from Real Red card stock, punching through one of the circles with the new Tree Punch and layering Champagne Shimmer paper behind it before adding another circle cut out to the back. It would also make a lovely ornament.

Dorene made these place setting holders and oh the detail!! You just have to keep looking and looking at it! They will be such a gorgeous addition to your Thanksgiving table. She used the framelit set called Fun Fall to create a variety of leaves which are then adhered to a roll of Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper. The stamped sentiment comes from the set called Holiday Invitation and the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding is the perfect way to accent it. It's just enchanting!! I may have to hire her!

Laura created this beautiful card with a combination of Whisper White, Smokey Slate and Silver. She used the Filigree Frame as a backdrop to the trio of trees from Festival of Trees. Dazzling Details and Silver Sparkles makes this card even more beautiful IRL,

So there you have it . . . the last batch of swap cards from our demo group. I can't believe how lucky I am to have all these beautiful cards in my displays from my customers to look at. If you happened to have missed it, you can see my Halloween Pennant Card that I made for the swap by clicking on Mingle All the Way Halloween Card.

There are some awesome deals this week!! I think it is finally time for me to get the Label Card Thinlits Die and the Sweetheart Punch ... the price is definitely "right!"

Holiday Mini Swap Cards from Stamping to Share Part One

This card that Katherine made is just delightful and so very easy to make, too! I should know as I had all of my club members making it last week! She used the stamp set called Festival of Trees that also has a coordinating punch. She pretty much cased it right from page 24 of the Holiday 2014 Mini. When I get back into town, I might have to do a video tutorial for you. It's quick and fast and so much fun. Once you make one you will want to make ten!!

Marlys made this gorgeous card with the stamp set called Bright and Beautiful. You can purchase the coordinating Star Framelits and cut your stars out quickly and perfectly every time. I love the silver heat emboss on the top star and all the little stars on the texture embossed layer.

Dawn created a lovely coaster for each of us using the stamp set called Beauty of the Season. This bird really lends himself well to being on a coaster and the stamp set includes two verses that also work really well on holiday coasters. Can't wait to make a few of these myself!!

Mary made good use of the Confetti Stars punch by creating a pretty border on this card that features the stamp set called Endless Wishes. I love the tiny rhinestone accent in the silver snowflake next to the sentiment stamped in gold. It's most elegant!

Liz used Ornamental Pine on her card and created a fun closure for it, too. Check it out below!

Isn't that neat? I just love how when you open up the card you reveal the rest of the stamped image below. In case you are wondering, she used the Window Frames Framelit Collection to create her closure.

Sue created a snowy Christmas scene with Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper, and two stamp sets . . . White Christmas and Holiday Home. I just love the way she extended the trees far up into the sky by stamping on the designer series paper first. So, clever . . . but that's Sue for ya . . . always thinking outside of the box!

Cindy made this quarter fold card with the stamp set called For All Things and the coordinating Designer Series Paper called Color Me Autumn. When you unfolded everything . . . there was another surprise.

She stamped the word thanks from Seasonally Scattered and added some acorns, too. Perfectly lovely!!

If you have enjoyed seeing these cards that my downline created, please stay tuned for more creations coming your way tomorrow as I post Part Two of our Stamping to Share Demo Swap Cards. Have a great day!!

Mingle All the Way Halloween Card with How To Video

This is the card that I made for our monthly Stamping to Share Downline Swap. Our theme was to create with products from the Holiday Mini and this is what I came up with. I used the sentiment stamp set called Mingle All the Way (but called it Mix & Mingle in the video!) and highlighted some of the words with Bledabilities Markers. I also used a cat from Freaky Friends . . . love how he is perched at the top of the sentiment. The Designer Series Paper that I used on this card is from the paper pack called Motley Monsters. It seemed like the perfect fun touch for a card that celebrates Halloween.

Stay tuned for more fun this week on my blog, my Facebook Stamping to Share Business Page and on my Stamping to Share Instagram account. On my blog . . . you will get to see the rest of the swap cards from my downline. I'll be sharing that on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday I will show you my Founder's Circle Swap card and include the How To video. If I have time on Friday, I will blog from Founder's Circle and do a bit of recap of all that we've done in St. George up to that point.

However, if you want to stay more in touch with me . . . I'll be posting much more frequently on my Facebook Page and Instagram account. I can hardly wait for this fun week of good times to get started!! I leave tomorrow and come back on Sunday. YIPPEE!!! A HUGE thank you to my customers, to my AWESOME and AMAZING Stamping to Share Downline and to YOU for all the support and encouragement that you give to me. It truly makes a difference and it is truly appreciated!! Enjoy the video!!
