Flower Patch Bundle with How To Video and the Link to Cards for a Cause

One of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog is called Flower Patch it is a Photopolymer so it's super easy to use for two-step stamping. I coordinates with the Flower Fair Framelits and can be bundled when you order it to save 15%. And, for the card above, I also used the new embossing folder called Lovely Lace for a birthday card that truly lives up to its sentiment! The designer series paper is Back to Black and there are a couple of flower patterns in this pack that also add a bit of flair.

Before I send you onto the how to video . . . I wanted to remind you about my Sea Street Class Kit to Go. I will be placing the order this week and making up the packets. AND, I'm gearing up to throw another Cards for a Cause to support the Concordia Academy Dance Team. This was a great success last year and we are hoping for even more people to sign up to get their cards to go or to join us for a morning of stamping. Click CADT Cards for a Cause to see the flier. My daughter's name is Kasey if you are sending a check to me to get your cards to go or to join us on August 16. When I receive your payment by August 4, you will get TWO BONUS CARDS for total of 16 cards!! It's a GREAT deal and you will help our dancers so much! Thank you! Enjoy the video!

I'm BACK! - with My Favorite Snapshots from Inspire Create Share 2014

It's great to be back, but in some ways, I wish I could still be there! I love the fun we had at Inspire Create Share 2014. Join me now as I share my favorite snapshots from this year's Stampin' Up! Convention.

On Wednesday, some of the people in my group went to "high tea" at the Grand America Hotel. What a delightful two hours of visiting and sharing. The tea, finger sandwiches and treats were delicious. What a relaxing way to start our stay in SLC. L to R: Katherine, Susan, Mary C, Mary K, my daughter Kasey, her friend Danielle and myself.

Stampin' Up!'s Service Project Drop Off Station. Mary and I dropped our donations off. I love how Stampin' Up! always incorporates service projects into their events. These personal care items will be donated to the local homeless shelter.

Judy and Marlys were out swapping bright and early. This was Marlys's first time to Convention and of course she plans to be back! Judy showed her all the ropes as she is a veteran Convention goer.

I had a "gimpy" foot, falling "up" the stairs just two days before leaving for Convention. This picture shoes it off quite well. I took my daughter Kasey (on the right) and her friend Danielle with me. They spent the week exploring SLC . . . but checked in with me a couple of times at the Convention Center to make sure I was doing OK with my foot. Isn't that sweet?

One of my favorite places to be at the Convention Center was the Recognition Room. There we could relax, chat with other achievers and eat chocolate!

My downline, Angie, on Awards Night enjoying her dessert from The Cheesecake Factory!

Angie snapped this picture of me on the big screen when I walked across stage on Awards Night as a  Founder's Circle Achiever. Oh the JOY!! A special thanks to my downline and customers for helping me achieve this honor for the third year in a row.

Here's the bag with the note of recognition, the letter from Shelli and my Convention Badge with all of the awards and recognition ribbons. I am so grateful to have a job that fills me with joy every single day.

This is the awesome chip and salsa bar that we enjoyed at the fun hoe-down party following the awards. I made one trip, but if I hadn't been chatting so much, I would have made a couple more trips. The salsa and chips were soooo good! So was the ice-cream!!

This is the South Dakota portion of my group at Convention. It all started with Angie! From left to right: myself, Noreen, Karen, Angie and Joyce.

When Convention concluded, we all went out for supper at PF Chang's. This is our whole group: Danielle, myself, Marlys, Mary C, Mary S, Karen, Joyce, Judy, Mary K, Noreen, Angie, Katherine, Kasey and Susan.

And then, across the street we went to get ice cream! yum yum!! Kasey, myself and Danielle.

Judy, Joyce, Mary S, and Marlys. It was delicious!! So light and fresh! I could have eaten more!

Mary K and Katherine, too, were also enjoying the special treat. It was a yummy way to wrap up a great week in SLC. We'll be back next year at Inspire Create Share 2015!

As I limped along on my gimpy foot back to our hotel, I took a picture of  Danielle and Kasey. What a treat to share this week with them. Who knows . . . maybe someday they will be demonstrators, too!

Stamping to Share Demo Meeting Swaps - July 2014 - Part Two

Today . . . I'm in Salt Lake City at Stampin' Up! Inspire/Create/Share - Convention 2014!! This will be my last blog post until after I get back which won't be for almost a week!! If you would like to stay in tune with all that's happening at Convention from a "Stamping to Share" perspective, be sure to "like" my Stamping to Share Business Page on Facebook and you will stay "in the loop!" Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share! Now, onto more demo swaps from our July Demo Meeting.

Chris shared this card in our Shoebox Swap. She used the beautiful new stamp set in our Hostess Only section starting on page 237 called I Like You. This card features three new In Colors: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow. Just look at that luscious Blackberry Bliss ribbon - yum!! And, as easy to work with as it is awesome to look at.

Dawn created this card featuring the Moonlight Designer Series Paper and the stamp set called Starburst Sayings with its coordinating set of Starburst Framelit dies. I love the way Dawn used the Chevron Border, punched just once to create a beautiful feature as well as balance on this card.

Liz continued stamping and sharing her butterfly theme with us on this "specimen" style butterfly card. The stamp sets are Kinda Eclectic for the top butterfly and Papillon Potpourri for the next two. The Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder adds additional interest and texture to this card.

Sue continued to roll on with the What's Your Type stamp set using the shapes to create a sailboat. The clouds were made by sponging Lost Lagoon ink around a Scallop Circle punch out. The sentiment and chevron waves were created with the stamp set called Work of Art.

Mary's card was inspired by the journal picture on the bottom right corner of page 145. She took the idea and created it in a card format with some of her own personal twists on it such as adding Gold Baker's Twine and and a strip of Moonlight Designer Series Paper. The stamp set she used is called A Happy Hooray.

Faith's card used markers to color the Vivid Vases stamp set with bright "vivid" colors to keep the card true to the stamp set name! The bottom half of the card below the button accents features a bright daffodil panel embossed with the Chevron folder. It's a wonderful summery card!

Debby used the new stamp set called Blessed by God that features two cross images and six different sentiments!! You can see it all on page 123. I love how the floral cross stamped in Calypso Coral coordinates so beautifully with the floral specialty paper called Gold Soiree.

Mary made this super CUTE card with the Kind Koala stamp that she will be using in a Convention swap.  We were all just tickled pink to get to make it at our shoebox swap. I love the way she incorporated the In Color Sequins on the flower punch outs to create a cute summery border at the bottom of her card.
