12/1 Spring Flower
We just picked up 6 inches of snow and what an I doing? I'm stamping a Spring Flower card! Stampin'Up put out it's Fall/Winter 2007 Retirement List today and Looks Like Spring was one of the sets that bit the dust. I've really enjoyed using that set and I was inspired to use it again tonight when I spied this card in Rose Ann's gallery. I love that big daisy die-cut, too, but I felt the big daisy in Looks Like Spring would be a nice substitute.
Did you know that if you mail a square card in a square envelope that you have to pay extra postage? Yup, 17 cents more, if I recall correctly! This square card fits into a regular A-2 sized envelope, though. So, 41 cents is all it will cost ya. It is 4.25 inches square. That's kind of a fun size to work with. You should try it sometime!
Supplies I used to make this card:
Stamps: Looks Like Spring (Retiring Dec. 31), Small Sayings (Retired) Paper: Chocolate Chip, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery Ink: Certainly Celery, Barely Banana Accessories: Spring Flower Bouquet Punch, Half-Back Pearl from the Pretties Kit, non SU ribbon, Foam Tape, Glue Dots
