12/6 Welcome, Tae!
My brother and sister in law are just back from Korea with baby Tae! We are all so excited and happy for them. I can't wait to meet Tae in person. (Note . . . Tae rhymes with Kay!) In the meantime, I made a card and I'm winging it down their way today along with many prayers and a Target gift card - both of which will be very handy as everyone adjusts to a new life.
I made this card with soon to be retiring set called, "I'm Here!" It is one of my most favorite baby sets ever from SU ever! I love those sweet little hands . . . the set also has sweet little feet, too! I started with a card base of Bashful Blue that I stamped my background on in with Ballet Blue. The background stamp comes from a long retired set called Elegant Embroidery. Then, I sponged around the outside of the card base with Ballet Blue ink to add a bit of depth.
I used blue gingham patterned paper and some other light blue patterned paper that I found in my stash . . . who knows where that came from or how long I've had it - lol - but today was the day for me to use it. The little hands are stamped with Ballet Blue ink onto Whisper White card stock and cut out. The ABC's are also from the I'm Here set and they are stamped onto the very light blue patterned paper in Ballet Blue also. The ribbon is another something out of my stash . . . probably came from a thrift store somewhere along the way.
The design of this card comes from a SCS Sketch Challenge #153. I really enjoyed putting this card together as it gave me a chance to relax and pray little Tae. My heart is bursting with joy. Thanks for stopping by.
