I really didn’t think I would have time to stamp today, but when I saw the sketch challenge at SCS this morning, I knew I would have to try to squeeze it in. I am NOT a night person . . . unless I am indulging heavily on chocolate! But, here I am – nearly 9:30 pm and I am posting my creation . . . which I only started on about an hour ago. I could have been done much quicker if I hadn’t totally flubbed up my corners. I had to come up with a creative way to rescue my image panel since I didn’t want to start all over on it. 3/4″ Circle Punch to the Rescue!! It hid my big bad flub and now I think it looks pretty cute! I’ve heard that mistakes are the key to giving up or getting creative. Glad I opted for the latter.

Of course I love the cute little chick and making his little egg any color under the rainbow. Today I went with Cutie Pie Designer Paper. The little dots in each of my corners are just punched from Cutie Pie paper with a regular old hole punch. I really like that I used my wide ribbon. As soon as I saw the sketch, I had a feeling that a wide ribbon would be the perfect touch on this card. That ribbon is from the Ribbon Originals set called Jersey.

Here are the supplies I used to make this card:

Stamps: A Good Egg
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, Whisper White, Cutie Pie Designer Paper
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Markers, Ribbon from Jersey Pack, Hole Puncher, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Foam Tape
