3/4 Garden Wedding
This is the wedding card that my customers will get to make at my Christian Inspiration Card Event on March 18. Isn't it stunning? Can you see the glitter? In real life, it is soooo sparkling! I must give credit to stampinfool2003 over at SCS for giving me the inspiration to create this card. She participated in the color challenge of River Rock with Black last week and created this beauty HERE. I loved her card . . . but of course, had to put a few of my own touches on it. I really wanted my flower to "pop" just a bit more so I stamped it again onto a piece of Shimmery White paper, cut it out and layered it onto my card. Shimmery White paper adds such richness and elegance to any card you make . . . it's just perfect for a wedding card. I stamped the sentiment on Shimmery White paper as well and used my oval punches for a finishing touch. The black ribbon comes from a Ribbon Originals pack called Jersey. This card measures 5 1/4" square and fits perfectly into the Whisper White 5 1/2" Square Envelopes that SU carries. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
Supplies I used to make this card:
Stamps: All Holidays, From the Garden, French Script (retired but similar to the current background called En Francais)
Paper: River Rock, Basic Black, Whisper White, Shimmery White
Ink: River Rock, Basic Black, StazOn Black (used when I stamped the flower & sentiment onto the Shimmery White to help make it "pop")
Accessories: Ribbon from Jersey, Oval Punches, Stamp-a-ma-jig
