3/4 Pomegranate Wishes
The instant I saw "She's All That" in the Occasions Mini Catalog, I KNEW I would own it! lol! I put this together in about ten minutes this morning - talk about a quick card! There's just not much to it . . . but it still has "pop" and a little bit of bling!
The Color Challenge today at SCS was to use Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and So Saffron. I knew I would use She's All That today no matter what the color challenge and as soon as I saw that the colors were happy and bright, I knew I would have to pick the birthday girl. There is also a bride, a girl drinking coffee and another girl who is expecting. I almost grabbed the drinking coffee girl because I am drinking coffee at the moment, too. But, then I would have to use her all the time I guess . . . so I went back to the birthday girl.
Anyway . . . isn't this CUTE???? Kasey, my eleven year old homeschooling daughter, just about flipped when she saw it . . . she said, "Mom, that's gonna sell some cards at dance!" Guess I'll have to get busy and make some more! lol! (For those of you who don't know, I donate profits from card sales at dance to the Minnesota Alliance for Dance Arts. The money goes towards dance scholarships and helps defray performance costs.)
Here are the card ingredients:
Stamps: She's All That from the Occasions Mini Catalog
Paper: Wild Wasabi Textured card stock, So Saffron Designer Prints, Rose Red Designer Prints, Whisper White
Ink: Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Ribbon Slide from Styled Silver Hodgepodge Kit (also new in the Occasions catalog), Pretties Kit Flowers, Aqua brush and reinkers to dye the flowers, Fire Circle Rhinestone brad, Glue Dot
Just a little Tip - If you don't have just the right color of ribbon . . . you can make your own! That's what I did here. I took a strip of paper from the So Saffron Designer Prints Pack and cut a strip just shy of 1/4". Then, I slid my slider through and ta-da - instant ribbon!
