4/10 Tae turns ONE!

My nephew is turning one this month and since I will be at regionals next weekend, I needed to make his card at some point this week or weekend. I had a spare minute last night as I listened to the Minnesota Wild Hockey Game on the radio. They lost to Denver. I was sad . . . but then I drank a beer, calmed down, went to bed and today I'm over it. Another game on Friday and I know it will be a better day for us MN hockey fans!!

Can you believe it . . . this card uses FIVE different stamp sets! I don't know what category I will file it to when I load it into my gallery at SCS. Probably Birthday Whimsy since the balloon is pretty eye-catching. The challenge was to use an offset oval on your card. The sketch seemed to be pretty simplistic . . . but of course I kept adding to it. I wanted to make it super special for my godson because I know his mom will put this card in his scrapbook and even though he won't appreciate it when we celebrate on the 20th . . . someday he may! (And I know his mommy will love it so that motivated me, too!)

I made the dots with the brush tip of my Brilliant Blue marker. The number one and the alphabet star are popped up on dimensionals. The perfect ovals are made with my Creative Memories oval cutter. The wide corner rounder is also from Creative Memories. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I hope you have a great day.
