4/15 Groovy Dancer

I wanted to create a dance card that had a little magic in it . . . and the easiest way to get magic into a card is to use GLITTER!! I made this card for the Color Challenge at SCS. The colors for today were Basic Gray, Blush Blossom and Groovy Guava.
.
I needed a "stage" for my dancing girl so I got out an old retired set called By Design. The dress on the dancer is paper pieced. The "magic" was created by stamping the swirls from the set called Priceless. I stamped them in Blush Blossom and then I used a glue pen to add the glitter.
.
Tonight is the first night of golf league. Even though the thermometer says it's 70 degrees, the wind is blowing so hard it makes it feel quite a bit cooler so I am going to dress warm! Wish me luck . . . I haven't swung a club since September! A week ago, we had snow on the ground! (Still do in the shady places!)
.
Supplies I used to make this card:
.
Stamps: Retired Stamping Ups Sets: By Design, Dance Sketches, Small Script Current Stamp Sets: Priceless
Paper: Groovy Guava, Basic Gray, Blush Blossom, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Aqua Painter, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Styled Silver Hardware, Groovy Guava DS Ribbon

Ya know what....I haven't pulled this stamp set out since it retired. My daughter danced and she wanted the stamp, I've kept it for her continue using (although she is a volleyball queen right now.) I love this stamp.....so, I just might pull it out tonight. Thanks for the memories. Joan
Oh, I love the swirls of glitter -- how fun!!! Love that image, too -- it's a great card all the way around!!! I love swirls of any sort -- much less glittered swirls!!! We still have snow -- had a horrible storm a few days back - I am SOOOO wanting warmer temps!! I guess it's coming -- all in due time!!! Hope you are all well!!!
