I wanted to create a dance card that had a little magic in it . . . and the easiest way to get magic into a card is to use GLITTER!! I made this card for the Color Challenge at SCS. The colors for today were Basic Gray, Blush Blossom and Groovy Guava.
.
I needed a “stage” for my dancing girl so I got out an old retired set called By Design. The dress on the dancer is paper pieced. The “magic” was created by stamping the swirls from the set called Priceless. I stamped them in Blush Blossom and then I used a glue pen to add the glitter.
.
Tonight is the first night of golf league. Even though the thermometer says it’s 70 degrees, the wind is blowing so hard it makes it feel quite a bit cooler so I am going to dress warm! Wish me luck . . . I haven’t swung a club since September! A week ago, we had snow on the ground! (Still do in the shady places!)
.
