4/22 Beate's Inspiration Flowers
This is the card I created based on the inspiration piece. First of all, I made a small long card to fit into the small long envelope from Stampin'Up. To make my background, I squirted Tempting Turquise, More Mustard and River Rock re-inker onto the image sheet that came with my Stamp-a-ma-jig. Then I just flipped it over and rubbed it over a piece of glossy white card stock. This worked very well. To give the edges some additional definition, I sponged a little Tempting Turquoise onto the panel.
Then, I dyed the six-petal flowers with an Aqua Painter and More Mustard re-inker. I also used the fine tip of my More Mustard Marker to draw into some lines in the center of the flower to make it a little more life-like. The flowers are put together with a black brad.
I colored a Styled Silver Hodgepodge piece and colored it with a black sharpie and then set it with my heat gun to use as an accent on my card. The black bursts along each edge is from the Snow Blossom Punch. I just thought it looked cool and thus it ended up on my card. Hope you are having a great day and thanks for stopping by!
