4/23 A Floral Moment

When you do a sketch challenge at SCS, you are given a card sketch and the idea is to follow it so that when your card is completed, you can easily see the sketch on your card. Below is a picture of the sketch challenge for April 23.

This is the card I came up with for today's sketch challenge. I was having a Floral Moment!! This card uses the Floral Background stamp from Stampin'Up. I inked it up in River Rock and then pressed an Old Olive ink pad over the stamp randomly before stamping it onto Sahara Sand card stock. I also used the Floral Background image to stamp tone on tone on pieces of Bashful Blue and Orchid Opulence. The main image is a Penny Black sticker that I purchased ages ago at my one of the local stamping stores in my area. I wanted to beef up the layers to give this card some more interest. Is eleven layers interesting enough? lol!

More than just interesting, Kay, it is BEAUTIFUL! Love all the layers and how you did the corners and brads. Reminds me I have some of those floral stickers, too. You've certainly treated this one like royalty.
