4/28 Two Fold Get Well

This card is made for the Technique Lover's Challenge at SCS. You can find the most excellent instructions for making this Two Fold card HERE. I have been thinking about my Little Birdie set from Stampin'Up all week and have been waiting for something to inspire me so that I could get it out. All it took was this challenge as they are just the perfect size for a 4.5" square card. I love how easy it is to paper piece these birds and all the different sayings are awesome. With temperatures in the 30's today, I needed a little Bali Breeze and that's what started me off in this direction for colors. But, you should know that although the base of the card, accented with dots from my SU white gel pen, looks black . . . it is actually Night of Navy. It truly makes the papers from Bali Breeze POP!

Now that you've admired the front of the card, you open the first fold over and see the next part of the card. Isn't it just the cutest? My sentiment is punched with the 1" Circle Punch and layered over the Designer Layer Punch, then layered over the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and then layered over the Key Tag Punch. Oh, how I love my punches!!! The key tag punched layer is made from Basic Black to give the words some extra pop.

Then, you open up the second fold and you see the very inside of the card. The paper clip is just to keep my card open for the photo. I couldn't resist adding another little birdie. Just so much fun! Thanks for dropping by my blog!
