4/5 Happy Saturday!

My niece/godchild is having a birthday next week and Pun Fun is PERFECT fare for a soon to be five year old! I made this card especially for Molly and I can't wait to give it to her. I babysat her twice a week from the time she was 3 months until this past fall so we share lots of crafting memories. I really enjoyed putting this color combination together. First of all, this card uses Cutie Pie Designer Paper so that was definitely my starting point . . . but then I wanted to put all those colors on a card base that would make everything pop. I ended up going with Handsome Hunter! Who'da thought??? Here are the supplies:
.
Stamps: Pun Fun, Little Pieces
Paper: Handsome Hunter, Cutie Pie Designer Paper, Whisper White, Basic Black, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate
Ink: Basic Black, Summer Sun, Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue, Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Aqua-Painter, Coluzzle, Marvy Scalloped Square Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Large Oval Punch, Designer Label Punch, Dimensionals

See the bedding above by Boodalee? That was our Inspiration Challenge for today at SCS. I LOVE inspiration challenges because I never know what stamps I will be pulling out! Some may have not seen the light of day in some time . . . and then I am always so grateful to have played because I love using all my stamps . . . not just the current SU ones.

I saw the sheet and I knew immediately that I had a patterned paper in my "stash" that would be a perfect fit for this challenge . . . and it was as you can see! I have no idea where that paper comes from . . . probably from one of those big stacks that Michaels sells deeply discounted during the holidays. The base of the card is Baroque Burgundy . . . remember that color?? One of my old faves and I only had one sheet left so I made two cards - might as well use it all!

Here are the supplies I used to make this card:

Stamps: Eiffel Tower from Penny Black, sentiment from Carte Postale by Stampin'Up Paper: Baroque Burgundy, Basic Gray, Pale Plum, unknown designer paper Ink: Basic Gray Accessories: Pewter Hodgepodge Hardware, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer
