10/03 Inspired by KWerner
I decided to emboss the cone flowers from Inspired by Nature onto Pumpkin Pie Prints paper. I inked the stamp up with Very Vanilla Craft ink. . . but when I stamped it . . . there was very little of the ink that seemed to transfer. I embossed it with clear and watched the image completely disappear! Not what I had in mind. So I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the flowers again . . . a little more ink seemed to stick and I warmed it over with my heat gun. I had to do this two more times to get the flower to show up using the Very Vanilla Craft ink. It still didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to. But I decided to keep working with it.
I grabbed a brown sharpie and outlined all the edges of the flower to give it some contrast. That helped a lot! The card went together quickly after that. I did Crop-a-dial embossing along the edge of the Chocolate Chip panel. I made three dots on the photo corner with my brown sharpie and put a drop of Crystal Effects on them for a dew drop look. I used the Wide Oval Punch to create my sentiment panel and then used the Coluzzle to make a frame for it.
Thanks for dropping by! Here are the supplies I used to create this card:
