3/3 Mojo Contest Week!
There's a contest going on over at the Mojo Monday Blog! Lots of winners, too. All you have to do is submit a card based on this week's Mojo Monday sketch and keep your fingers crossed! lol! Well, here is my
card. And . . . I think it is ADORABLE!! It uses the level three stamp set called Goody Goody Gumdrops. This is my first ever OWL card made from a stamp! I grew up in a house with LOTS of owls. My mothers favorite bird. They made nice avocado and burnt orange accents throughout our kitchen and living areas. (NOT!) So, I've been trying to stay away from them. But, when I realized that I now owned an owl image . . . and given the fact that they are SO POPULAR right now. I decided to make this card as a tribute to all the owls of the 70's that I grew up with. BUT, I think my owl is much, much cuter! He is Aqua-painted with Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal and Barely Banana. The little shadow under him is painted in Bordering Blue. I almost always use Bordering Blue when I need a shadow. It's the perfect shadowy color!
Supplies I used:
Stamps: Goody Goody Gumdrops
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Delicate Dots DSP
Ink: StazOn Black, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, Barely Banana, Bordering Blue
Accessories: Mat Pack, Black Journaling Pen, Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Mini Library Clips, Aqua-Painter
If you love this set . . . there's no better time to earn it than during Sale-a-bration! Book your workshop with me ASAP and share the love of stamping with your friends and family. We'll have a good time . . . that I can promise!
