My daughter’s piano teacher wanted me to create a couple of cards for her students to let them know that she was proud of them. I did a few of these owl cards that you can see HERE. And then, I wanted to do a different kind of card with some pink for the teenage girls. Isn’t it cute?? My three daughters loved it! I would be amiss not to mention that I was inspired by Karen Rose’s card at SCS which you can see HERE.
The sentiment is from Stampendous and I’ve had it a couple of years now – not sure where I picked it up. The ribbon is from Michaels, but I don’t think they carry it anymore. I did make some of them with a black sheer ribbon using white dots which is also very cute and I know that Michaels has that style on hand, as I picked it up last night.
Supplies:
Stamps: Special Blessings (113411), Baroque Motifs (113490), sentiment from Stampendous
Paper: Basic Black (102851), Pixie Pink (105121), Whisper White (100730)
Ink: Pixie Pink (105212), Basic Black (101179)
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch (113692), ribbon from Michaels
Kay, this card is a stunner! Love the crisp design, the great color combo and the punched border!
Gosh, I totally glossed over that bird/cross image in the catalog, but it is beautiful! What a nice card!
