7/22 First Bots Card
I decided to try another sketch today . . . this one from Diva Coffee Break Designs. As you will notice, I took a little liberty with the sketch but I do so love the way it turned out. I used my newest stamp set called Lots of Bots to make this card. The little four year old boy that we babysit was talking about "Chicken Bots" one day at dinner and I had no idea what he was talking about . . . some new happy meal at McDonalds or what and he said, "No, Chicken ROBOTS." Like I was the most un-happening person he'd ever met! Ok, then! So, when I saw these "bots" I knew I had to get them. I'm a little sorry that there isn't a chicken bot in the bunch . . . but oh well, such is life!
I think this set is worth getting just to get the nuts and bolts! Talk about having fun making my own background! And, won't it go great with the Totally Tool set? I just love it! I used Bermuda Bay paper for the base of my card and threw in some Basic Gray and Brushed Silver . . . you know . . . robot colors! I used a combination of markers and a blender pen with ink from my ink pads to color the little guy. Those dots that you see on the brushed silver band are from my handy-dandy hole puncher. They are 1/4" Circles. The panel corners are accented with small photo corners from our Photo Corner Punch. I popped the panel up on dimensionals for a little extra umph.
Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
