7/23 Clean & Simple Attempt
I found another sketch challenge that I can play. It is from the blog called Clean & Simple Stamping. Now, I know that Clean & Simple Stamping can be very challenging - especially for someone like me! And, as you can see, I had to layer it up once or twice. I always think that I don't have a "style" to call my own, until I try to follow someone else's style and then come to find out I can't! But, that's what makes sketch challenges so much fun. How many twists can you get away with before you've gone too far and the sketch is no longer recognizable? Fortunately, that did not happen this time!! lol!
I used the frame from my Top Note Die Cut to begin my card. I layered it over Dusty Durango and then once again over Crushed Curry. The base of the card is made from Soft Suede card stock and I ran the jumbo wheel called Whimsy with Chocolate Chip ink over the top of my card base for some added interest. The ribbon is 1" Double Stitched Chocolate Chip grosgrain. All in all a pretty simple card . . . that's got some interesting things going on.
Have fun shopping 24-7 at my Stampin'Up website!
