7/30 Totally Cheerful!
I call this card Totally Cheerful . . . just looking at it makes me smile! I created this card based on the Mojo Sketch Challenge for this week. I made a big, cheerful flower for the circle element. The set is called Pick a Petal . . . what fun to stamp it on designer series paper. The DSP I used is called Storybook Specialty. It's extra thick and has an awesome texture to it. The center of the flower was stamped into the same paper, cut out and embellished with a clear rhinestone brad.
The other rhinestone brads on this card get a little more bling because they are inserted into the centers of the small grommets. Sooooo cute!! It's the little cute extras that totally make the card, don't you think?
My banner sentiment is stamped with words from A Little Birthday Cheer and the inside of my card is stamped with a Curvy Verses sentiment. I used reverse scallops on a strip of black paper to layer over the orange DSP from the Razzleberry Lemonade pack. You can create reverse scallops with the Slit Punch.
