There’s a new blog on the block put together by Mary Fish and some of her downline called Pals Paper Arts. I’m excited about this challenge blog because it is going to feature all Stampin’Up products on their challenge sample cards . . . and you know that I think Stampin’Up is where it’s at!! Love everything about this company and plan on lovin’ it even more when I go to Convention in just two days! The very first challenge issued by Pals Paper Arts was a color challenge using a couple of new In Colors, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay, paired with Chocolate Chip. Super luscious!!
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge as well in making this card. Love that sketch. I tried free-hand cutting my sentiment and that was a little challenging, but I guess it looks okay. I was attracted to the wave of the words because I thought it went so great with the whale from the stamp set called Animal Stories.
.
I’m loving clear buttons these days . . . it’s fun to keep them clear . . . or you can turn them any color by layering paper onto the backs of them . . . in this case, I used Melon Mambo. To get the threaded look, I just cut a really skinny strip of paper and threaded it through the button holes and ta da . . . looks great!
