9/12 Treat or Card?

This is a treat or card set that I came up with to offer my customers an option at my All for Fall class coming up the end of September. If you can believe it . . . before I became a demonstrator and would go to my upline's events. . . I used to just "groan" whenever I saw we were making "3-D" items. Sick, huh? And why, you ask? Because I could never figure out how to "store" them in a satisfactory way - - - and I certainly couldn't "give" them away! (a hoarding mentality I inherited from my dad). Well, I've since learned to "let go" just a little bit, but I feel for my customers who view 3-D's the same why I used to, so I try to offer a non-3-D item as well that more or less uses the same supplies.
.
My card option uses the same paper strip as the Halloween treat box. It's 5 1/2" long by 2" wide and it is simply glued to the left hand side of the card. If you choose to use it on the treat box, you just wrap it around the pillow die-cut before adhering the die cut into it's final shape. The treat boxes will contain fun size candy bars. I personally love dark chocolate with mint so I indulged that urge for mint and chocolate with a Three Musketeer bar that combines those options perfectly. The stamp set is called "Batty for You" and it is really fun to add "googlie" eyes to. I adhered the eyes with Mini Glue Dots. Below is another picture showing a few more of the pillow treat boxes.

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'll be happy to assist you with your Halloween treats! Shopping is easy at my SU demonstrator website!
