9/30 Clean & Simple Contest Card

This is one of the cards that I submitted to Stampin'Up for a Clean & Simple Contest and guess what . . . this card won!! I couldn't believe it when demo support called me shortly after I arrived home from Convention to tell me the news. I'd never entered a SU contest before because I usually create and then immediately post my creations on my blog. Once you do that, I'm not sure if you can send it in or not, so I usually don't. But, in July, I was really busy making swaps and since I never post my swap cards until after they have been swapped, I sent a few of them off to SU to see what would happen. Good things happened!!
As a contest winner, I got to select three stamp sets and I got my card and picture in Stampin' Success - a monthly magazine that goes out to all active Stampin'Up demonstrators. Stampin' Success is just packed with ideas and great tips for running your business. It's one of the demo perks that I look forward to every month and I have to say, the October issue will be on display in my stamp room for a long time to come! lol!
I haven't entered any SU contests since, but I really should. The only problem is that I like INSTANT feedback - haha! Blogging has kind of spoiled me that way. Thank you, so much for stopping by and also for the many kind comments you have left me since I started blogging. You know, whenever I need a pick-me-up, all I have to do is come to my blog and read those comments. . . they are truly little hugs in my day.

So THIS is the mysterious card that won! I finally get to see it, and it is stunning!! I love how that sentiment with the delicate little leaf fits right in the hodgepodge... not to mention how gorgeous the vanilla hodgepodge looks against those colors! Way to go, no wonder you won!!
