I ordered an extra Textured Impressions Folder in Petals-A-Plenty so that I could cut out the center part of it and use it like a frame as pictured above. I used the Scallop Oval Frame Die to create the oval which I traced onto the Impressions Folder. Then I “painstakingly” cut it out with my Hobby Blade. This is NOT a quick process. First, I had to work my way through the top of the folder and then another trace line and the same process all over again on the bottom half of the folder – at least a 1/2 hour process. But, now it is done and I’ll have it forever!
I’m excited about offering this card at my Christmas Dozen coming up in December. Once your folder has been modified, it is a very quick and easy card to make. I used Shimmery White paper for an extra touch of elegance and sparkle.
