Yup . . . it’s flat! Not one little Stampin’ Dimensional can be found on this card . . . and it’s still fun!! Every once in a while I like to challenge myself to make a flat card. I have a number of clients who prefer them because they don’t go for mailing bulky cards. Now, I admit there are a number of “layers” on this card and truly, as I created and layered it was all I could do to hold myself back because I love to make those layers “pop” with a dimensional or two or three!
.
This card gets its layout inspiration from Stamping 411. It turned out to be super quick and easy to put together because I used Die Cut Blooms for my main images. My stamped sentiment comes from the set called A Little Birthday Cheer.

Have a great day and thanks so much for dropping by my blog, today.

I was wondering where you were this week! Super cute card Kay – and I know what you mean about the dimensionals! Haha, when I fail to use them on a card, my clients are shocked! I just tell them that "no dimensionals were harmed in the making of this card!"
Thanks for playing along this week!
Love those die cuts and love your card! I too, have been shying away from bulky embellishments. my postal carrier has me pegged as a card maker and nails me for extra postage every time!
Very Retro looking to me. I love the colors and composition. thanks for playing along.
Super cute Kay!
What a super fun card!! Love the embellishments on the right hand side of the card, too fun!!! Thanks for playing along this week!!
Kay, this is such creative take on the challenge. I love the colors, too. You didn't use a dimensional…. WOW…. I can't do that… 🙂
