1/2 Sweet Pea Stitched Felt

December was wild and crazy! I had so much fun with family and friends. We got a lot of snow over our Christmas Holiday and in this family that means only one thing: SNOWMOBILING!! More than I ever have before. So much fun . . . but I'm still a little stiff. I even tipped a sled - my first little accident ever - luckily the snow was soft and I only got one bruise. (But, it's kind of a big one !! lol!) Thanks for not deserting me in my absence. When I wasn't holidaying or snowmobiling you can bet I was stamping! I'll have lots and lots to share with you in the coming days so be sure to stay tuned!!

This card features some NEW product that will be debuting in the Spring Occasions Mini catalog. This catalog goes live on January 5 in conjunction with Sale-a-bration. I am "IN LOVE" with these Sweet Pea Stitched Felt pieces and couldn't wait to use them on a project. When I saw the sketch challenge over at Stamping 411 I was so excited because I knew immediately what I wanted to do for it.
.
My standard card base is made from Naturals White paper. I covered the front of it with strips of designer series paper from the Pawsitively Prints pack which carried over from the Holiday Mini into the Occasions Mini. (yeah . . . I think the colors in this paper pack are so springy!) I layered my felt pieces with mini glue dots and also attached them to my card with the same adhesive. Super strong hold and it's easy to apply.
.
The sentiment from All Holidays is stamped with Rose Red onto Whisper White paper and punched out with the large oval punch. I layered a punched scalloped oval in Rose Red behind it. Then, it's popped up on Dimensionals. That's all there was to it!! A super easy, super fast Easter card.
