1/8 My GoDiva Swap Card

Recently I was asked to participate in a Robin Merriman Swap called "GoDivas". The cards I got back took my breath away!! Absolutely beautiful. My customers got to see them at my Open House and they were absolutely raving over them!! The card you see above was my contribution to the swap. I used Tiny Tags with the Medium Jewelry Punch. (LOVE that punch!)

To make those eye-catching corners, I cut the Kraft card stock and the Real Red card stock to the exact same size. Then I used the Pinking Hearts Corner to cut the Real Red card stock. The punched Real Red layer is then adhered to the Kraft layer and you will achieve the look you see above. To make the dots that you see on this card, I used the fine end of a Chocolate Chip marker and with the Mat Pack tool. You could also paper pierce it for a little bit different look.

The heart is Stampin'Up's new Embosslit Die called Scalloped Heart of Hearts. I was inspired by the embossed dots on this heart so I made my card base match it by using the new Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder. I see myself using this folder a LOT! I really like how it covers the whole entire card front perfectly.

I attached the Epoxy Sending Love brad in Chocolate Chip to the heart and dangled my Tiny Tag with Linen Thread off of it. The Chocolate Chip Epoxy brads are such a deal . . . only $3.25 for 16 of them - 8 each in two designs.

I am in the process of organizing a Ribbon Share - you still have time to be a part of it! Please read THIS POST to get all the details! Have a nice day and thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!!
