2/14 Love Bird for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! I was playing with some die-cut scraps and this is the card I came up with! A sweet love bird . . . most fitting for the day! The only stamping I did on this card was to create a background on the Top Note die. I used the vine image from Vintage Vogue. I just love making backgrounds with our Clear Mount Stamp sets. The colors on this card are Ruby Red, Old Olive and Kraft. I spritzed my Ruby Red panel with a bit of Isopropyl Alcohol before running it through the Big Shot Machine using the SU Texturz Backgrounds 1. Misting your paper with the Isopropyl Alcohol helps break down the fibers so that your plate leaves a nicer impression and unlike misting with water, the alcohol dries very quickly. You can also mist your Texturz Plate instead of the actual paper and I often do this so that if I get too much spritz in one spot I can smooth it out a bit with my fingers.

Have a great day!! Here are the supplies you will need to recreate this card:
