To the left you can see the sketch challenge that Stamping 411 posted for the week. I used the set called “Happy Moments” which you can get for FREE from your demonstrator when you place a $50 Stampin’Up product order. I also used Itty Bitty Backgrounds around my flower image . . . another Sale-a-bration Reward Item available for FREE with a qualifying order! Isn’t this a great time of year?
One thing that you might be noticing about this card is the darling flower embellishment. It’s just a Scallop Circle punch with the scallops snipped in, stamped with Itty Bitty Backgrounds, distressed a bit and layered with designer series paper and a Jumbo 5/8″ Brad.
Here are the supplies you would need to recreate this card:

And this card is for the Stamping 411 Color Challenge using the colors of So Saffron, Brocade Blue and Certainly Celery. The chipboard “d” is from a letter pack called On Board Loads of Letters. First I covered the letter in Whisper White Craft in, then I poured White Embossing Powder over it and heat set it for a nice shiny look.
The panel of Brocade Blue is swirled with Whisper White Craft ink. I used the embosslit die called Beautiful Wings to make some butterfly accents for both the outside and the inside of my card.

I am loving both of these cards Kay!!! I haven't used Itty Bitty Backgrounds in a long time. I always grab for the Color Spritzer tool instead. You've inspired me to dust off IBB and use it!!!!
Really cute card. Love the flower treatment and the inside of the card. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Kay — love both your cards! The "stippling" effect from the Itty Bitty Backgrounds is amazing! Beautiful job on both! Thanks for playing along with the Stamping 411 Operators this week! Blessings, Gretchen — http://www.gretchenbarron.typepad.com
Kay, you are so very talented – I love your work and these are no exception. Great, great job on both cards!
So glad you played along this week!
