I love the challenges at Stamping 411! This is my card for this week’s Sketch Challenge. It’s one that photography does not do justice to. This card is super, super sparkly in real life . . . like real sugared flowers!
.
As you can see, the image panel gives you a lot of room to play and I hadn’t played with my 5th Avenue Floral set in some time. I just randomly stamped the flowers on Whisper White, colored it up with my Aqua Painter and ink from the lid of my ink pads and then Versa Marked the whole thing. I sprinkled on Heat and Stick Powder and after using a heat gun to sticky it up, I poured on Dazzling Diamonds and heat it to set it.
.
The rest of my card went together very quickly. I used some designer series paper from the Sweet Pea pack featured in the Occasions Mini, along with some White Satin Ribbon wrapped around the bottom edge of it. My main image panel and the sentiment panel are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

And, every Thursday, Stamping 411 issues a Color Challenge! So this is my color challenge card. It uses the challenge colors of Taken With Teal, Real Red and Apricot Appeal. Notice my awesome Scallop Trim border around my Birthday Bot? I’m starting to get the hang of this whole punching thing!! I started with a rectangle sized at 3 13/16″ x 2 7/8″. If you haven’t checked out Gretchen Barron’s tutorial . . . you must do so today! Here is the LINK.
