3/10 Bling for Boys

The Late Night Stamper challenge this week was to make a card with bling. Well, bling is pretty easy for me so I decided to take the challenge up a notch and do some bling for boys! My go to bling for boys is brads or jumbo eyelets. Glitter . . . not so much! BUT, I did put some sparkle on this card. You will have to look close and my husband MAY not even notice it . . . but adding it to this card made me happy!! (And, isn't that what really counts? ha ha!)

The Designer Series Paper on this card is from the paper pack called "To the Nines." It's quite manly and the first pack of paper I tend to grab when I want to make a guy card. The main image on this card is from the stamp set called Totally Tool. The sentiment at the bottom of the card is from a stamp set called Wonderful Favorites. One of my "free" sets from Last Year's Sale-a-bration Demonstrator Rewards.

To add the sparkle, I used Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and spritzed my image after it was already stamped and colored. Can you see the shimmer? I also added it to my punched out Chocolate Chip heart that accents the sentiment.
