3/15 Stamping 411 Challenges!

I love the way black makes bright colors even brighter! Do you have your shades on? I spent some time today playing with the 411 Sketch Challenge and Color Challenge. My sketch card features textured card stock with various Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. The fabulous bold ribbon isn't just for Christmas!! I think it is working out great here on this graduation card. The clear button has a skinny strip of paper acting as faux thread and it is adhered to a square of Glorious Green card stock with a couple of mini glue dots. My images are stamped with StazOn Jet Black ink onto Shimmery White card stock.

Supplies:

Stamps: Four Square (111632), Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370)
Paper: Textured Black (108693), Textured Red, Textured Yo Yo Yellow, Textured Glorious Green are all from the Bold Brights Texture Pack (108698), Shimmery White (101910)
Ink: Jet Black StazOn (101406)
Tools: Big Shot Machine (113469), Finial Press Embossing Folder (115963), Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335), Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder (116824), Word Window Punch (105090), Scallop Square Punch (112081)
Accessories: Real Red Polka Dot Ribbon (115608), Clear Buttons (105447)
Adhesives: Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive (110755), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), SAIL to adhere the ribbon (104332)

I LOVE how this card turned out for the color challenge. The Real Red and Green Galore have so much POP! I love pop! The oval comes from the center part of the Scalloped Oval die. I stamped the images from the Level Two Hostess set called Asian Artistry in Versa Mark ink and then embossed it with Black Embossing powder. So simple . . . but so striking! The Green Galore paper is texturized with the Perfect Details plate. The brads are pushed through 1/4" Real Red circles (the same size as a regular office hole puncher) and then inserted through the Green Galore. I love the way that little detail adds to the overall look of the card.

Supplies:

Stamps: Asian Artistry Level II Hostess Set (114399)
Paper: Textured Basic Black (108693), Real Red (102482), Green Galore (101768)
Ink: Versa Mark (102283)
Tools: Big Shot Machine (113469), Scalloped Oval Die (114521), Perfect Details Texturz Plate (115962), Standard Texturz Impressions Pad (114614), Standard Texturz Silicone Rubber (114615), Paper Piercer to make the holes for the brads (116631),
Accessories: Real Red Polka Dot Ribbon (115608), Clear Buttons (105447)
Adhesives: Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive (110755), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), SAIL to adhere the ribbon (104332)
