I am a wife to Steve, a mother to three beautiful daughters and I have a full-time stamp at home business as a demonstrator with Stampin'Up. Making cards, scrapbook pages and 3-D items with quality products from Stampin'Up has become my passion and I would love to share this joy with you! Join me at one of my Stamping to Share events, or be a hostess for a Stampin'Up workshop and let's have some stampin' fun!! If you don't know the first thing about stamping, don't worry . . . I can teach you how and it won't be long before you, too, are stamping to share!
Just today, I joined a Yahoo Group called Late Night Stampers. They have some neat challenges that I was interested in trying out. This card is for their Designer Paper Challenge. I used the paper pack from the Occasions Mini called Sweet Pea. With 24 different designs to choose from, it took me just a bit to decide what colors I should use. Finally, my eye landed on one of the flower images. I cut it out and let that image be my guide for this card.
This card is 4 1/4" square. It seemed like a nice size to show off that flower image that I chose to use on this card. The stamp set is called Fundamental Phrases. It was one of the FREE sets I got last year as a reward from Stampin'Up for having good sales during Sale-a-bration. That's one of the things I really like about being a Stampin'Up demonstrator . . . you are always recognized for a job well done. The sentiment is punched out with the Word Window Punch . . . an essential tool for every stamper! Talk about making your life easier!! It's so easy to stamp and punch! The flower is accented with one of our Chocolate Chip Corduroy Buttons.
This card came together so quickly . . . once I decided on a color combination. It can easily be put together by you, too! Here are the supplies you will need:
Stamps: Fundamental Phrases () Paper: Whisper White (100730), Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper (117161) Ink: Chocolate Chip (100908) Tools: Word Window Punch (105090), Paper Piercer to make hole for the brad button (116631) Accessories: Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button (114339) Adhesives: Tombow Multi Purpose Glue (110755)
