4/22 A Sweet and Simple Card for Mom
Night Stamper Stampers is to make a Mother's Day card. This is the second card I've created for this challenge and it is also one that my customers got to do at my Flower Power Class. (They were given options for their sentiments so I've seen this card made into everything from birthday to thinking of you and all of them turned out beautifully!)
Can you see the two rows of raised up dots along the bottom of this card? That's something new I learned at Regionals in Milwaukee! You get yourself and extra Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder and cut it into strips. Then you can run your card through the big shot with just a few rows of dots if that is the look you like. Isn't that a brilliant idea??
I absolutely love this set called Awash with Flowers . . . it is sooooo easy to use. Especially if you purchase the clear mount set. It makes two-step stepping as easy as "one-two!" (See . . . it's so easy, you don't even need to count to three! lol!) When I do the two step with Awash with Flowers, I like to stamp the outline images first and then I go back and stamp in the solid images. The solid flower image is inked up in Lovely Lilac, then I used a Sponge Dauber to put some Rich Razzleberry along the edges. I stamped it once and then, stamped it again just off and to the right of the first image. I think that extra little stamp off makes it look like the flower is blowing in the wind!
