4/27 Inspiration Challenge for LNS

Late Night Stampers posted an Inspiration Picture for our challenge this week and the first thing I noticed about it were the colors of brown and orange. So, I grabbed my Lovely as a Tree set to make a sunset card. I love how it turned out and I think I will feature it at one of my upcoming classes.

The base of my card is Soft Suede. I stamped the Woodgrain background stamp onto it and fastened a Polka Dot Soft Suede ribbon to the left of the card . . . but where are the Polka Dots, you ask? This is a reversible ribbon so you can use the Polka Dots or not. I stamped the trees with Soft Suede onto Pumpkin Pie card stock. Then, I stamped them again on a strip of Soft Suede card stock and tore the card stock along the "ground", lined it up with the sunset trees and then trimmed the edges to line up with the Pumpkin Pie Panel. I used a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes (my most used stamp set ever!) and adhered it all so a panel of Kraft card stock which I then mounted to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals. It's a very quick and easy card. I hope you will join Late Night Stampers and have fun with the challenges, too.
