Do you know a kid who likes to fish? This might be the perfect card! May is the start of the fishing season here in Minnesota and this sweet card could just make someone's day . . . whether they take home a keeper or not! One of my customers requested a punched fish card to make at an upcoming workshop and I was excited to come up with this design for her. It's also an "easy, demonstrable challenge card" for Late Night Stampers.
The first thing you do is wheel some swirls and bubble across you card front. I used the Jumbo Wheel called Whimsy. I think it is the perfect underwater look! The square that the fish is mounted to is 2.5" square. Create your fish (notice I made another punch art tutorial? I hope to collect a whole 6x6 book of them for my customer's reference!) and mount it to the white square with Stampin' Dimensionals. Stamp the word hello from the stamp set "Hello Again" with Brilliant Blue ink onto a Ballet Blue paper scrap and punch out with the 1" Circle Punch. Punch out two more bubbles - 1/2" and 3/4" circles - and adhere them to your card with dimensionals, too. So easy . . . you are done already! Now put that card in the mail and make someone's day!
