5/3 Pearls & Swirls Challenge

The challenge this week over at Late Night Stampers is to use Pearls and Swirls in your creation. I found some swirly brocade fabric at a garage sale and made a butterfly pin. I was inspired to create this for my Big Shot Basics and Beyond class last month by a 3-D swap I received at Milwaukee Regionals from Kim Bozenthal. The pearls are from the Pretties Kit and I adhered them with Crystal Effects which adheres the sparkle tulle to the butterfly at the same time. The butterfly is then adhered to some folded over scallop circles of sparkle tulle with hot glue, and then hot glued to a pin. The butterfly is presented on a Kraft Top Note. So, so pretty.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by to visit. Here are the Stampin' Up supplies you would need to recreate this project:

Paper: Kraft
Tools: Big Shot Machine, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Scallop Circles #2 Die (I used the bigger of the two scallops), Top Note Die
Accessories: Pretties Kit half-back pearls
Adhesives: Crystal Effects
Misc: Fabric, tulle, pin back, hot glue

This is adorable; love the vintage type feel and your use of brocade and tulle, and that it is also a pin is the best topping! Thanks for sharing. Mary L http://www.doggandponyshow.blogspot.com
