6/14 Wheely Wonderful Challenge!

The challenge this week at the Late Night Stamper Yahoo Group is "Wheely Wonderful!" Another words . . . use your wheels! Alas, my wheels are quite neglected . . . unless I need them for a quick background. My favorite Stampin' Up wheel is the Jumbo Wheel called Whimsy. I love the swirls and bubbles and I think it works great for underwater/fish type cards. You can see some examples of this wheel by clicking HERE.

My card today uses the wheel called It's Beautiful and it's retiring as of June 30. I rolled it once across the bottom base of my card, and then I rolled it once more across a panel of Whisper White. I rolled it first and then trimmed it to fit, leaving some white space at the bottom so I would have room to stamp my sentiment. The heart and sentiment are from the stamp set Always. I can't even remember the last time I used that set, but it must be a popular one as it is not on the retirement list. I think we've had it for a couple of years now. I do love the heart and sentiments in this set.

Thanks so much for dropping by to visit my blog. Here are the supplies I used:

Stamps: Always, Jumbo Wheel It's Beautiful
Paper: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Tools: Jumbo Wheel, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Adhesives: SNAIL (my favorite adhesive to attaching panels of Whisper White or Very Vanilla), Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive (my favorite adhesive for attaching our heavier weight card stock), Stampin' Dimensionals (my favorite adhesive for adding lift to my image panels)
