6/16 I pick . . . Batty for You
Sketch Challenges at Splitcoast Stampers all the time, and then I stopped and kind of forgot about them. Today, I was surfing around (as I was avoiding doing something I should have been doing!) and came across this week's sketch. And, I wondered . . . if I were to do this sketch, which stamp set would I pick? Hmmmm . . . I think I would pick Batty for You. So I did . . . I picked it, I played it and this is the card I made! Fun, isn't it? I used soon to be retired paper from Stampin'Up called Cast a Spell. I only have just a few scraps of it left because I loved it so much and used it a lot for projects I made last fall.
The base of the card is Elegant Eggplant. I decided to make a standard sized card instead of a square one and I used circles instead of squares for my images. The sentiment is from the stamp set called All Holidays and it is punched out with the Modern Label Punch. The layer behind is from the Movers and Shapers Magnetic Dies that I used with the Big Shot.
There's a sneak peak on this card . . . the ribbon! It is lovely . . . 1/8" wide Taffeta and it will come in all of our Starter Colors. It's adhered to the card with a glue dot.
