6/16 My Second Rag Purse Project

Here it is . . . my second Rag Purse Project! I'm getting better . . . going from eight hours to a mere two hours to completion time. I actually made this purse the same day that I made my Convention Tote that you can see in yesterday's post. So . . . 10 hours of sewing kind of took it out of me! lol! The kids are pretty proud of me, though, and I felt like I did a pretty good job. At least now I have a couple of samples to show my customers what can be done with the Big Shot and the Scallop Die Square.

For my closure, I ran some leftover pieces of fabric through the Big Shot using the Circles Die #2. Then I layered them together and adhered the whole thing to the purse with on of our Summer Sun Corduroy brads. I will be sorry to see these brads go. They look sooooo good as a center to our fabric flowers. You might still be able to order them on the Last Chance Accessories List for 50% off. See my shopping button at the end of this post.

This purse is made from four "fat quarters" that I purchased for 99 cents each. I got two of the wild pattern and two in coordinating yellow. This purse was really fun to put together because the fabric pattern was so much fun to work with.

I put the wild fabric to the outside and the yellow to the inside. I really like that look.

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by my blog for a visit!!

Tools: Big Shot Machine, Scallop Square Die, Circles Die #2, Sewing Machine
