Isn’t this tag gorgeous? My customers got to make it at my clubs this past month. I am also featuring this project at all of my home workshops in November. I was inspired by the beautiful tags in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini catalog on page 21. It actually goes together quite easily. The gorgeous paper called Deck the Halls really pulls it all together. The bells, stamped with StazOn onto Crumb Cake card stock is colored by touching your Stampin’ Up! Marker to the “hash” marks and then using a blender pen to pull the color into the rest of the image. The bells themselves were colored straight on with Sahara Sand Marker, no blending needed. I added Champagne Glass Glitter adhered with Crystal Effects for the “wow” touch.
If you live with in a 100 miles of the Twin Cities and you would like to hostess a Stampin’ Up Workshop so that you and your friends can make this wonderful tag . . . please e-mail me! We will set up a date and time.
Two of my daughters went duck hunting this past weekend with their grandpa in Southern MN and came home with Wood Ducks and Mallards. We feasted this evening on fresh roasted duck marinated in Peach Schnapps (ummm-ummmm!) and Wild Rice with Vegetables and Bacon. Just AMAZING!! The house still smells sooooo good. Another one of my daughters was away at Space Camp in Alabama this past weekend and my husband and I got in some golfing and a couple of relaxing days at our cabin in Wisconsin. We all scattered and now it’s good to home all together again.
