10/28 Be a Friend

I saw a card by Caroline LeBel that inspired me to create this card which I used as my "Charity" card for some events that I had this fall. What's a Charity card? It's a card that my customers make and then put in a donation basket that goes to our local befrienders group. Befrienders are people who care . . . they send cards to shut ins, to people who are ill or who have experienced a loss in their lives. We can all be a friend to someone who is down. Who would you befriend today? Did you think of someone? Why not send them a hand crafted card and let them know that you are thinking of them and that they have a friend.

I love sharing, creating and bringing joy to those around me. Do you? Why not combine that passion with the Stampin' Up! career plan and build a business that emphasizes your best qualities? Have you ever actually read the Stampin' Up! booklet titled, "Open the Door to Creativity and Rewards"? It's wonderful! It's something everyone should read and carefully consider if you have ever contemplated building a home business with Stampin'Up! Encourage your SU demonstrator to give you one or if you don't have a demonstrator, E-mail me and I will happily get one of these booklets out to you so that you, too, can change your life and the lives of others by Stamping to Share.

That's a lovely idea...to make cards and donate them to those who will send them out. I need to incorporate that in my classes. Thanks for that idea! And thanks for using one of my favorite DSPs. I'm not usually drawn to such busy designs, but I really like this one!
If I wasn't already a demo ... your kind thoughtfulness would have convinced me to sign up with you! (Except, too, that I live in Australia! giggle) I hope someone ... somewhere will feel inspired to do so! Hugs xxaxx
