I made this card for the Godiva Swap Group that I am in organized by Robin Merriman. What an amazing and fantastic group to be a part of. I always strive extra hard to create a swap that will be “worthy!” This is what I came up with for our Occasions Mini 2011 Swap. It uses the stamp set called Be My Valentine. I also used a new embossing folder debuting in the Occasions Mini called called Framed Tulips. It puts an embossed frame around your card panel with enough space to feature a small Valentine in the Scallop Envelope.
It’s pretty cute, isn’t it? Can ya tell I’m kinda proud of this one?? I LOVE IT!! (Hope my fellow swappers do, too!) I love it so much in fact, that my private clubs and my Sunshine Club will be making this card! To get the Valentine image to show up so vibrantly, I stamped it on our Glossy White paper. This is then layered over a card of Whisper White backed to a panel of Basic Black. Our 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon in Black is the finishing touch. Have a very Happy Stamping Day and Thank You so much for stopping by my blog today!
