2/1 Stampin' Up! Nature Walk Bleached

This was another swap card that I made, this time using Nature Walk and bleach to make the background on my Early Espresso card base. There is a butterfly from the stamp set called Clearly for You stamped in the upper right corner of the card, but it didn't show up as great on this card as it did on my swaps. Along the left hand side of the card, I adhered a strip of card stock that was embossed with the Framed Tulips folder. If you actually click on the picture, you might be able to see the embossing a bit better. The sentiment, from Teeny Tiny Wishes, helps to balance the bottom half of the card with some dynamic layering, a glimmer brad and Stampin' Dimensionals.

To use bleach on your card, I've found the following procedure to work the best for me. I use a double layer of paper plates resting on my  black Stampin' Up! cutting mat upon which I've folded a paper towel into fourths. I pour about a capful of liquid bleach onto the paper towels and this creates my bleach soaked stamp pad. After I've stamped my images, I can just toss the paper plates and paper towel into the waste basket, making clean up a breeze. The stamp I just spritz up with a little Stampin' Mist, clean as I normally do and it's no worse for the wear.

Stamping to Share is my joy and passion! Have a great day!
