2/28 Stampin' Up! Elements of Style with Shimmer Paint

I was inspired to play along with the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge this week because one of my downline just became a Stampin' Up! Supervisor! I want to give her a beautiful card in honor of that accomplishment. Congratulations, Angie! (Thanks to the challenge . . . I think I came through in flying colors!)

I began by creating a Platinum Shimmer Paint background using that gorgeous floral image in Elements of Style. I had a lot of fun with this . . . so much fun, I decided to make a video to show you how I did it! It doesn't have to be "messy." and the end result is stunning! The camera really doesn't do this card justice . . . the glimmer brads are glimmering and the shimmer paint is shimmering . . . guess you will just have to trust me on this! lol!

I hope you enjoyed the quick video and that you are off to make some Shimmer Paint backgrounds soon. Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by "Stamping to Share!"

Lovely how the paint keeps the details of that beautiful image. Stamping on black is so elegant; the shimmery paint must be the sweet surprise!

How did you end up cleaning the pant of the stamp? I know you mentioned it comes off.
