3/13 Stampin' Up! Afterthoughts

I saw a card by LeAnn Pugliese that I had to save to my favorites file. (My "bulging" favorites file!) I was inspired to see that LeAnn used the "negative" space from the flower die cut out to make her card so I decided to try it out, too.

I adhered the flower cut out to a medium weight window sheet. This allowed me create the illusion of a floating flower center. I used two designer series paper packs from the Occasions Mini. There's some lovely layering going on. You can probably tell that I was totally in the zone when I created this card. Everything came together for me in a manner of minutes. Love it when that happens!!

The inside panel carries over some of the designer series paper and the sentiment is layered over punches for a more dramatic look.

What an "intriguing" card, Kay! So many gorgeous little details ... that make it really original. Love the floating flower idea! TFS. Hugs xxaxx
