4/19 Demo Meeting Swaps Part One
Our April Demo Meeting swap theme was "Anything But a Card." Here are some of the creations with more to follow tomorrow!!
Dawn's Easter Box contained the Jelly Bean Prayer for Easter with . . . you guessed it . . . Jelly Beans! If you don't know the Jelly Bean Prayer . . . this is what Dawn shared with us:
A bag full of jelly beans colorful and sweet, is a prayer, is a promise, is a special treat.
May the joy of Christ's resurrection fill your heart and bless your life.
Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace He gave.
Purple is for His hour of sorrow.
Pink is for our new tomorrow.
Cindy created this cute little box treat holder. She cased the idea from our IB&C . . . it's an endless source of inspiration! Cindy was our contest winner as all of us were just crazy for this bear box!
This sweet little chick was created by Lynn. She put magnets on the back of it so we can use it to decorate our refrigerators . . . and that is exactly where you'll find it at my house!
Vivian used her Table Setting Big Shot Die to create this felt flower pin. I love the rhinestone accent!
Laura made this awesome book mark. At first I couldn't figure out how it worked . . . I thought it might be a little bulky! Ha ha! Everyone was quick to set me straight! Apparently, only the ribbon marks your page. The flower part rides on the outside decorating the front of your book! (Takes me a while! lol!)
Tasha shared this cute little sweet treat bunny with us. She was on a roll with this little bunny 3-D as she featured it at all of her March Sale-a-bration workshops. We were thrilled to each get our own!
Val made a decorative tri-fold with an image and a verse on each of the three sides. A lovely conversation piece on your side table. She also mentioned that if it were made out of vellum, a battery operated tea light would make it glow.
Katherine made a cute note pad holder. You can't really tell by the picture, but she used a white gel pen to bring out the word friend and there is a window sheet over the open space. Very impressive!
Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the creations that were swapped . . . I promise to share the rest tomorrow!! Have a happy stamping day!!
