5/14 Stamp Something About Me Demo Swap

The theme for our May Stamping to Share Demo Meeting Swap was to "Stamp Something About Me." This was a great assignment as all of us got to create something that represented something about us. The best part of all, was sharing with the group. I think we all learned something new about each other at that meeting!

Kathy created a little booklet that took us through the important parts of her life. It was so cute and we learned a lot about "T" as we paged through it!

This is a picture of one of the inside pages. She really put a lot of work into this booklet and I know I will treasure it as a little memento from my friend, Kathy.

Terri's swap was a cute little envelope and note share. Terri loves flowers and enjoys sending notes and cards to her friends and family to let them know that she is thinking of them and appreciates them.

Laura made a card that reflects her love of flower gardening. Gardening outdoors in MN can be challenging, but it's nice to know that we can paper craft our love of gardening year around!

Chris shared with us that her favorite stamp set is Fifth Avenue Flower, her favorite Stampin' Up! tool is the Big Shot Machine, her favorite stamping technique is called "Watercolor Wash" and her favorite color is purple!

Mary shared with us that one of her favorite things to do is to "go up north." With all the fun things her family does up north . . . I can see why she loves it!

Cindy's card reflected a lot of the joy in her life. First it is a wedding card to show that she is married. Each butterfly represents one of her children and each rhinestone represents a grandchild! The sentiment has a little dazzling diamonds on it because she loves a little sparkle on her cards and in her life! All of our swap cards go into a contest and this card was our Contest Winner and Cindy got to pick a prize out of the Prize Basket!

This card was created by Mary and it represents the fact before she retired, she was a first grade teacher! How totally fun is that?

Tasha made this pretty card to pay tribute to her mom (and also her upline!) and to thank her for always being there for her. Tasha is a mom herself to three great kids.

Katherine created this card to show that her favorite season is Spring and that she loves all the bright colors popping up in her gardens after a long winter of white and brown.

Sharon made a Build a Bear card because she loves "cute" and Build a Bears are cute, cute, cute! She loves having a Big Shot and creating all kinds of fun things with it that she sells and donates the proceeds to her favorite charity.

Angie created this card because she just graduated from college with a degree in accounting!! YEAH, Angie!!

And, this is my card for the Stamp Something About Me Swap. I LOVE raspberries (and blackberries and blueberries and strawberries and pretty much every other kind of berry, too!) As soon as I saw this image in Pretty Postage, I knew I wanted it. I eat berries mixed with yogurt every single day. I also enjoy eating berries in my oatmeal and on my cereal and I really love them mixed in with my ice cream! All of my favorite desserts involve berries from Strawberry Shortcake to Triple Berry Pie. And now you know something about me that I bet you didn't know before! (As a little side note . . . when I was a little kid on the farm, I used run down to the garden in my jammies, pick a bowlful of raspberries, and top it all off with cream and sugar or vanilla ice cream. That was my summer breakfast!)

What a fun challenge! It was so nice to read about what inspired each card. Thanks for sharing! Hugs xxaxx
