10/31 Stampin' Up! Array of Sunshine & the Big Shot Offer is Extended!!

I felt like stepping away from all the fall/Halloween/Christmas colors for a moment and working with pastels. The flower image is from a hostess stamp set in the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog called Array of Sunshine. I stamped it three different times and cut out three different layers to make the flower. It is adhered to a circle die from Circles #2, which is run through the Big Shot Machine using the Texture Plate from Backgrounds #1. The Blushing Bride scalloped strip is a scrap from a Fancy Favor Box that I created a while back. The sentiment from Friendly Phrases fit perfectly on one of the labels from the Lots of Tags Sizzlit Die Set. It's a pretty simple card . . . and I hope you didn't mind seeing something in pastel!

Stampin' Up! announced this morning that the fabulous offer of a FREE Big Shot Machine is being extended to November 11 for all New Demonstrators. (If you have a Big Shot Machine, you can select $100 in free product as your sign up gift!) you can read more about it by clicking HERE.

On another note . . . our oldest daughter, Karel, received her acceptance letter from the University of Minnesota on Friday afternoon. It was an exciting moment. I wish I could have captured the expression on her face when she first got the letter!! It was priceless . . . but of course I wasn't quite ready with the camera. I actually hesitated to post this picture on my blog as you get a nice look into one of the very messiest areas of our house . . . the mail/junk drop area and my husbands office! lol! But, it's not about the messy house . . . it's about my very happy daughter! Congratulations, Karel!! We are all sooooo proud of you!

Hoooray for Karel! (I love the special red plate, too. We have one that was given to every family in our church, years ago.)
Your card is adorable. Love the pastel colors.
And, thanks for the congrats on my new grandson, Kol. (The phone that kept ringing at your house on Thurs night was MY phone (with an old fashion bell ring that I forgot was my ringtone). Funny! I came home to messages left for me by the whole family saying Smita's water broke!
