6/27 Big Shot Strawberries in a Basket

My Big Shot Class is tomorrow and this is what we are going to make! It's a basket full of lovely Big Shot Berries!

My customers will get to make the basket . . . of course. I was inspired by the basket pictured on page 141 of the brand new 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog. And then they will get to make two 3x3" cards with the beautiful strawberry that is made with the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die. These cards and the design on the basket were inspired by several artists on the Demonstrator Website.

And, there will be strawberry candy to tuck into the basket and into the two paper berries that each customer will also get to make. You can find a tutorial by Julie Beltramo to create the 3-D berries by following THIS LINK. Thank you, Julie, I wouldn't have been able to figure this out without you!

Such a pretty display . . . perfectly ripe for the picking! Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by "Stamping to Share!"

6/21 Stampin' Up! Wellness Wishes

This card was so quick and easy to make that I used it for my June Charity card. My customers enjoy this aspect of my business knowing their donation card will go to someone who needs a friend and a prayer. Again . . . there are a few retiring products on this card that I would like to highlight. First of all . . . the Photo Corner Punch. Yup . . . retiring June 30. The Designer Series Paper called Woodland Walk (I love that name by the way), and, lastly, the stamp set called "Wellness Wishes."

Do you need a new catalog? Just e-mail me and pre-order one! It's just $5 to have it shipped to you. I will give you a pay pal link on July 1, or you can mail a check to me.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by Stamping to Share!

6/20 Stampin' Up! FYI

This is one of the cards that my customers have the option to make at my Say Goodbye Card Buffet. That stamp set called "FYI" will soon be retired along with my very favorite wheel called "Whimsy." I love that wheel for making quick backgrounds on my cards. The paper is called Elegant SoirĂ©e . . . also soon to be discontinued . . . and goodbye Early Espresso Satin Ribbon. sniff. . sniff. And, that Designer Label Punch . . . going, going and gone by June 30. Doesn't it layer nicely over the 2" x 1 3/8" oval? Too bad I only just discovered that! Had I figured that out a bit sooner, I might have used my Designer Label Punch a bit more often!

The inside of my card features a sentiment from "FYI" (and there are 9 to choose from!) If is stamped on Very Vanilla card stock, punched out with the Word Window Punch, layered onto a Modern Label punch out and then layered onto the smallest flower from Daisies #2 Die.

Stamps all retiring on June 30: FYI (…

Here's a cute matchbox that shows off the new Triple Layer Blossom Bouquet Punch and the gorgeous Beyond the Garden designer series paper. The brads are from the Circle Fire Rhinestone pack. The yellows and the oranges work really well here.

Here's a group photo featuring an additional design from this designer series paper package. The flowers are adhered with Dimensionals.

6/15 Stampin' Up! Curly Cute with Strength and Hope

I love the design of this card . . . a couple of the Curly Cute sentiments fit just marvelously across the top edge of the Top Note die cut. I cased this card from Canadian Stampin' Up! demonstrator Sheri Hofley. It was one of the many samples available for us demonstrators to browse at our Demo Only Website called Stampin' Connection. But, you really shouldn't go browsing around in there unless you've set a timer. Let me tell you from experience . . . it's an easy place to surf and surf and surf and the next thing you know, two hours have just disappeared!!

Here are the Stampin' Up! Supplies I used so you can make this card, too!

Stamps: Curly Cute (Wood Mount 117014, Clear Mount 120510), Strength and Hope (Wood Mount 118100, Clear Mount 123660), French Filigree (Wood Mount 113742)

6/13 Stampin' Up! Beyond the Garden Birthday Cards

Beyond the Garden designer series paper in the Summer Mini has some fabulous BIG, BOLD designs in it. I really love anything blue so when I saw these blue blooms, I knew I had to make a card with them. Once I had one made . . .

I had to make another one . . .

and then another one!! Let me tell you . . . it's addicting once you get started! All of these cards have a border punch or die treatment along the bottom. The sentiments and ribbons are all in the same place as well as the photo corners . . . but each card looks so different from the next because the dsp varies that much in just one sheet!

Oh, and a quick FYI . . . if you like corner punches, I'm sure you are glad that you have the photo corner punch already in your SU punch collection. BUT . . . if it is on your wish list . . . be sure to get it soon! Stampin' Up! is retiring it as of June 30!

6/12 Stamp Something Summery Demo Swap

Last week I had my monthly Stamping to Share Demo meeting with the ladies in my group. The card above was our project card that Chris was kind enough to share with us. Isn't it lovely? You are getting a sneak peak at a new paper and a new punch that will debut in our upcoming catalog! It's just soooo gorgeous!! I can hardly wait for my customers to attend my New Catalog Pick Up Day on June 30! You will LOVE IT!! All the demos that I am friends with are LOVIN' it!! (As a demonstrator, I just LOVE the perk of getting it early . . . thank you, SU!!) Thanks Chris for a great project demo!

Dawn looked in the Summer Mini for some summer inspiration. I love the perfectly torn layers accented with the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine. Dawn used textured paper, too . . . love the way that ups the elegance!

This is Cindy's first swap with us and I think she did a GREAT job with the slide out seed packet. She is a brand new demonstrator and is still working on her punch wish li…

6/10 Stampin' Up! Big Shot Gerber Daisies in a Vase

The ladies who attended my Big Shot Class in May were treated to fabulous project! We made Gerber Daisies and put them in a Petal Cone Die Vase. I managed to find some picks at a local craft store that were pointed on one end (perfect for adhering the brad to) and already painted green. I believe they were called Plant Stakes. Of course . . . I'm not so creative as to come up with this idea all by myself. (Not in a million years!!) I learned all about this technique from a fellow demonstrator named Sharon White. She created a great You Tube video and you can learn all about making these flowers, too, just by clicking HERE.  Since we were making three of these beautiful flowers and I had quite a few attendees at my class, I opted to eliminate a layer of flowers (the bottom layer is only two of the largest size) and there isn't any sponging on these bright beauties.

Here is a close up of the flowers. Aren't they pretty?? Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping …

6/5 Stampin' Up! Pretty Postage Birthday

This is the card I created for the Stamping to Share Downline Demo Swap. The theme is "Something Summery" and you have to admit . . . Blueberry Crisp Designer Series Paper fits the summery theme! These colors are like sky, water and beachy sand. The cute little birthday stamp from the Pretty Postage stamp set featured in our Summer Mini catalog looks just perfect stamped in Pacific Point and punched out with the Postage Stamp Punch. Paper flowers anchored with Turquoise brads add another summery touch to this card.

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

Stamps: Pretty Postage (Wood Mount 123095, Clear Mount 123097)

6/3 Stampin' Up 12x12 Up North Pages

Here is the second set of pages my customers will get to do at my Open Scrapbook Club in June. I LOVE the "up north" theme of this page. In MN the phrase, "We're going up north for the weekend," is as common as "I'll pick up some milk on my way home from work." Of course, my customers will have the option of customizing the title to suit their needs, but I'll just bet that most leave it as is!

I didn't have my camera on quite the right settings when I took this picture and the green on this page is actually Always Artichoke . . . though it kind of looks like Garden Green. I did use Garden Green ink to stamp the pine tree in several generations of images. There's a close up of that below.

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree (Wood Mount 115026)
Paper: 12x12 Crumb Cake (119929), Always Artichoke (105119), Early Espresso (119686)
Ink: Garden Green (102584)

6/2 Stampin' Up! 12x12 Fourth of July Pages

This will be one of the 12x12 page sets that my customers will get to make this month at my Open Scrapbook Club. My favorite Fourth of July decoration are the swag banners that you see decorating front porches and parade floats. I was inspired by a card on Stampin' Connection featuring a similar swag idea by Wendie Waldman. I used the Scallop Circles Die #2 for the scalloped layer. The white layer was the 2 1/2" Circle Punch and the blue layer was punched with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. The small star punch (retired a couple of years ago) completed the look. It's actually a fairly simple set of pages, but it packs a lot of bang both with the bold colors and the beautiful swag.

Here's a close up of the swag. I used the Simple Alphabet Letters and Numbers to complete the page. And of course a Tasteful Trim Die piece also made an appearance. I'm not sure that I've made very many scrapbook pages without this die since it debuted in the 2010 Holiday Mini. It…
