7/28 Stampin' Up! Mini Starter Kit ends July 31

Image
Many of you have watched me grow my Stampin' Up! business in the four years that I have been a demonstrator. I didn't join with the intention of growing Stampin' Up! into a full-time business . . . but that is what happened! I realize that I have been very blessed by my loyal customers and a by tremendous group of women in my downline. They are my friends and my Stampin' Up! family.

Has the thought crossed your mind this month that you would like to join Stampin' Up!, too? Well, call your demonstrator and get the ball rolling! The $99 Starter Kit is only available through the end of July! Check out the video below that Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!, created to see a few of the goodies you will get by joining Stampin' Up! this month.

7/27 Extending the Stampin' Up! Candy Wrapper Die

Image
One of the coolest things I learned at Convention was how to extend the Candy Wrapper Die so that it fits a full size candy bar. As soon as I saw the general session demonstration, I knew that I would sharing all the how to's with my Big Shot Class/Club. I decided to share what I learned with you, too! You'll have to check out the video below.

7/25 Stampin' Up! Fancy Fan Embossed Card for GoDiva Swap

Image
This is the card I made for the card portion of the GoDiva swap at Convention. I just LOVE this color combo. I got it off the Color Coach . . . Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist. How do you like the letterpress plate being used as an embossing plate? I think the whole ink and roller thing is cool, but I like that I can get even more mileage out of my letterpress plates by using them for embossing, too. I created a video for you to show you how to do this.

Another thing that I did on this card that actually looks really cool IRL is that I embossed the Chocolate Chip Doily. It's a very easy technique. All you have to do is ink up your stamp in VersaMark ink and then go directly to our Chocolate Chip ink pad and ink it up right over the VersaMark. Stamp, put clear embossing powder over it and heat with the Heat Tool.

Here are the supplies that I used for this project:

Stamps: Delicate Doilies (WM 122590, CM 122652), Tiny Tags (WM 118091, CM 118592)
Paper: Chocolate Chip (10…

7/19 Stampin' Up! Strawberry Favors for the GoDiva Swap

Image
Oh, my goodness! Am I really back? Is Convention really over? I didn't want it  to end!! We had so much fun. I am bursting with new ideas! And, now I can share the swaps with you that I was working on before Convention.

The strawberry that I made HERE is back but this time it's on the Bitty Box that you make with the Big Shot Machine. I made these cuties for the GoDiva 3-D swap hosted by Robin Merriman. I love the extra dimension that I acheived by running the 3x3 lid topper through the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

The Bitty Box has a lid catcher that I cut off. With the 3x3 lid topper overlap, it was difficult to get the lid catcher out . . . thus making it difficult to get to the strawberries which would be the whole point! lol! Six foil wrapped berries fit perfectly into the box.

Have a great day and thanks so much for dropping by Stamping to Share!!

7/11 Stampin' Up! Cupcake/Pennant Punch

Image
I have been pretty busy this past week getting my swaps ready for Convention. I just took pictures of everything I've been up to, but I don't want to share them until after Convention. I'd hate to ruin the surprise for people who are in a few of the private swaps that I am participating in. So . . . I was trying to figure out what to post today when I realized I never posted this card! It's the first card I made using the the new punch from SU called Petite Pennants Builder. It was so easy to make and I love the cute, trendy pennant flags that are all the rage right now.

To create the glistening frosting, all you have to do is ink up a scrap of Whisper White with VersaMark ink, sprinkle on some Heat and Stick powder, bring it to a glossy shine with your heat tool, douse it Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and use your heat tool once more to set it.

Here are all the Stampin' Up! supplies I used to create this card:

Stamps: Tiny Tags (Wood Mount 118091, Clear Mount 118592…

7/6 Stampin' Up! Faith in Nature

Image
One of my very favorite stamp sets in the new 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog is called Faith in Nature. It's a hostess set that I pre-ordered in June. I used it for my Hostess Appreciation Invitation as well as for a Godiva Swap that I was in. The card above also features the new Stampin' Up! Lace Ribbon Border Punch. I LOVE that punch. You can use a little bit of it for accenting a layer or a big bold swatch of it to make a show stopping statement!

The color of this card is Island Indigo, one of the five 2011-2013 In Colors. To accent the pear, I used the fine tip end of the Basic Black Stampin' Write Journaler to outline the pear and leaf. I created a dew drop with a bit of Basic Rhinestone bling. The sentiment is from the Oval All stamp set and punched with the Large Oval Punch.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
