10/31 Stampin' Up! Array of Sunshine & the Big Shot Offer is Extended!!

I felt like stepping away from all the fall/Halloween/Christmas colors for a moment and working with pastels. The flower image is from a hostess stamp set in the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog called Array of Sunshine. I stamped it three different times and cut out three different layers to make the flower. It is adhered to a circle die from Circles #2, which is run through the Big Shot Machine using the Texture Plate from Backgrounds #1. The Blushing Bride scalloped strip is a scrap from a Fancy Favor Box that I created a while back. The sentiment from Friendly Phrases fit perfectly on one of the labels from the Lots of Tags Sizzlit Die Set. It's a pretty simple card . . . and I hope you didn't mind seeing something in pastel!

Stampin' Up! announced this morning that the fabulous offer of a FREE Big Shot Machine is being extended to November 11 for all New Demonstrators. (If you have a Big Shot Machine, you can select $100 in free product as your sign up gift!) you can re…

10/26 Stampin' Up! Contempo Christmas

Here is a quick and easy Christmas card if you need one . . . and it uses a non-Christmas Designer Series Paper that looks a little like Christmas when you pair it with a tree! The patterned paper is from the paper pack called Paisley Petals. The tree is inked up in Always Artichoke. I used a Blender Pen to remove the ink from the base of the tree and then colored that section in with a Chocolate Chip marker. This is one of the cards my customers can make at my card buffet today and tomorrow.

Have a wonderful day!! Thanks for stopping by!

This was the Charity Card my Club Members got to make this month. I wish I could tell you where the idea came from! I know I semi-cased someone, but I don't remember who. (sorry!) I love that the Extra-Large Oval punch fits into the Oval Designer Frame perfectly!

This was a take home Charity Card Option that my Club Members had. I think it's just da bomb that the Occasions Alphabet fits into the frame perfectly as well!

Hope you enjoyed these quick and simple cards! Thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

10/24 Stampin' Up! Always Thankful

Earlier this fall, I participated in a Rising Star Swap and one of the cards I got back had me running to place an order so I could case her card!! Edie Bunting used the stamps set called Always Thankful from the Holiday Mini Catalog and this is my case of her card. Thank you, Edie, for sharing you amazing work with us!
Don't you wish you could be a SU demonstrator, too, and be inspired by amazing swap cards like this one? Swapping and sharing ideas with other demonstrators is definitely one of my favorite things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. But, that is just the beginning of the many ways my life has been enriched by Stampin' Up! Mostly, I just love being with a group of people who "understand" me!! lol! There is still time (through Oct. 31) for you to become a demonstrator and get a FREE Big Shot to boot! (Or $100 in product of your choice.) Please e-mail me for more details, or click HERE to join my group of Creative Crafters Stamping to Share. Th…

10/19 Stampin' Up! Glimmer Paper Stocking

This card was so much fun to make that I made A LOT of them!! I used it in a couple of different swaps that I participated in. After making so many of these . . . I have a few suggestions for you. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere your socking pieces to each other. Worked like a charm for me! I also used a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the little jingle bell. I just love how these bells actually "jingle!"

To make the border around the tag, all you have to do is punch a tag in a contrasting color, cut it in half, snip off the pointy pieces at the long ends and then adhere behind your sentiment. Just adds a little extra pizazz to your greeting.

Have a great day and thanks so much stopping by Stamping to Share!!

10/14 Stampin' Up! Kraft Gift Box in Beau Chateau

This is another one of those handy Kraft Gift Boxes that Stampin' Up! is selling in it's Holiday Mini Catalog. My hostesses have been really enjoying their decorated gift boxes and I thought I would share another one that I've decorated . . . this one using the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper.

I just can't stop making them!! They are so beautiful. This one has two accordion flowers stacked on top of each other. My customers thought it looked like a cake and I have to agree . . . this paper is Yummy! One sweet touch to help accent the beauty of this gift was a length of Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon slipped around the box and tied into a fluffy little bow.

Here are the supplies I used to make this darling little gift box:

Paper: Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper (122357)
Tools: Simply Scored (122334), Crop-a-Dial to make holes in the Accordion Flowers for the twine which holds them together (108362)
Accessories: Kraft Gift Box (124106), Soft Subtles Designer Buttons…

10/13 Stampin' Up! Pines & Poinsettias

This is the card I made for the Anything Christmas Demo Swap. I also swapped it out with a Leadership Group that I am a part of  . . . so I actually made over 50 of these cards! Was I crazy? Maybe! But, it was a labor of love. I had a few long trips over the weekends I worked on this card so using a lap table, I was able to complete the bulk of this project in the car. (Obviously, I was not driving! lol!) And, it made me happy to make it. Every single time I stamped the pine cones, I got a little thrill because they are just so darn sweet looking!

Here are the Stampin' Up! supplies that I used:

Stamps: Pines & Poinsettias (WM 123762, CM 123764), Tiny Tags (WM 118091, CM 118592)
Paper: Cherry Cobbler (119685), Wild Wasabi (108641), Early Espresso (119686), Real Red (102482), Crumb Cake (120953), Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Paper (124004)
Ink: Wild Wasabi (), Early Espresso (119670)
Tools: Scallop Edge Border Punch (119882), Curly Label Punch (119851), Jewelry Tag Punch (117190)

10/12 Stamping to Share Swap Cards Part Two

Here is the second half of the cards that were at a recent Stamping to Share Downline meeting. Our theme was "Anything Christmas" Enjoy the eye candy!

This card by Kathy Trussell uses the crimper in a creative way . . . bold and beautiful!

Karen Larson used the stamp set called Pennant Parade to make her Christmas card. I like the way she accented the ribbon with merry, merry, merry!

Cindy Standal made a very cute  present card. She was so quick to give the credit to me . . . but I have to add . . . the credit for this card actually goes to Lisa Schmid and a swap card that I received from her at Convention. Very cute, quick and easy to do.

Chris Glebus stepped away from traditional Christmas colors and made her Stitched Stocking card from a serene blue and purple hue.

Lynn Miller made this darling snowman card. I love the embossed flakes in the background.

Mary Dagostino made this trio of stockings with the new Stocking Builder Punch. The Silver Glimmer Paper is the perfec…

10/11 Stamping to Share Swap Cards Part One

Our Stamping to Share Downline Meetings are held every month and our swap cards are one of the highlights. This month our focus was "Anything Christmas." Enjoy!

This card using the stamp set "Bells & Boughs" and "Curly Cute" was made by Mary Kiley and she colored her pearls with a red sharpie marker for some extra pop. The gold embossing is gorgeous!

Katherine Narog's "Welcome Christmas" scene reminds you of cold nights warmed by memories  of days gone by. I love the bit of frost she added to the corners of the window with our new Dazzling Details.

This card by Debby Filiowich features an image from "Christmas Lodge." It's getting harder and harder for me to resist buying this stamp set with samples like this!!

Dawn Michels is a little short of stamp sets as a newer demonstrator, but she's got it made when it comes to what she can do with the Big Shot!! What a beauty!

Judy Hamen used the set called "Christmas Gree…

10/7 Stampin' Up! 12x12 Elegant Scrapbook Pages

I love the Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper . . . but it was too pretty to use!! Ever had THAT happen to you?? I know . . . crazy! But, I loved it so much that I even purchased an extra pack. And there it sat unopened. And, then I attended a local Leadership Meeting and what do I see? But the most BEAUTIFUL pages EVER!! I copied them "almost" exactly. (I added the ribbon . . . lol!)

All the accolades go to my stampin' demo friend Rachel Tessman. She is the creator of these amazing pages and I got her permission to share them with you!! I feel so lucky to have such a kind and creative friend like Rachel. I just can't wait to show them off to my customers. (Even MORE GORGEOUS IN PERSON!) Thanks a MILLION, Rachel!!

The "curtains" on these pages are made with a 3" strip of the flocked paper. It's scored every 1/4". That's a snap when you use the Simply Scored Tool. I did find that on the black curtain, there was a little bit of c…

10/6 Stampin' Up! 12x12 Spooky Halloween Pages

Don't you just love these Spooky pages? And, check out those spooky eyes!! I have to give credit to Patti Chesky for the page on the left. I saw her scrapbook page at a recent Demo Meeting and snapped a picture . . . I knew it was something I was going to run with!

Here's a close-up of the spooky eyes. I used the Peek-a-Boo Frames Die to make this an interactive scrapbook page! The bloodshot eyes come from the spiderweb stamp in Wicked Cool. The sparkling black pupils are punched from Silver Shimmer paper that's been dyed with StazOn Black ink. A really cool technique that I show you how to do on the video that you can find at the bottom of this post.

Here's a picture of the Scalloped Peek-a-Boo bat box. It would have been really fun to have a bat spring out at you when you opened up the door. But, I went for practical . . .

And made it a journaling box. Plus, I couldn't get my bat to "spring" so when all else fails . . quit! lol!

And, how do you like …

10/4 Stampin' Up! Modified Mini Milk Carton

I've seen various versions of modified milk cartons now at several Stampin' Up! Events so I decided it was time to try it out myself. This was a LOT of fun to make . . . so much fun in fact, that I had my customers make it at a recent Big Shot Class. They loved it, too!

This is a top view. You can see that it's a five sided container. I cut two paper panels using the Stampin' Up! Mini Milk Carton Die. On one of the die cuts, I chopped off one section of the milk carton die so that I had three sides and on the other die cut, I chopped off two sections leaving me with two sides. Then, after scoring all of your fold lines, you just adhere them together for a five sided treat holder. I used my Crop-a-Dial to punch holes for the Natural Hemp Twine.

The tag was made with the Holiday Mini stamp set called Gently Falling and it is just clipped to the twine with our Mini Clothespins.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by Stamping to Share!!

10/3 Stampin' Up! Decorated Kraft Gift Box

I absolutely love decorating these Kraft Gift Boxes that Stampin' Up! introduced in their Holiday Mini Catalog. You can see them on page 15. I have a link to the Holiday Mini on my right side bar if you don't have your catalog handy. If you need me to mail you a mini, just let me know by e-mailing me HERE.

These Accordion Flowers are made with the Simply Scored Tool. I think they make great package toppers. This one fits perfectly on to of the Kraft Gift Box. It is 3" in diameter. Of course, the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper makes it all the more gorgeous!

Here's a side view. The package topper was scored every 1/2". The base of the box is wrapped with Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon.

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!
